Getting Ready to Open
We moved in to the training center about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I’ve been fixing the place up and preparing it for opening day with the help of my wife, my business partner, and family. Thank God for their help, because there’s no way I could have done it on my own. My business partner laid out over a thousand dollars just to come over from SoCal for the weekend and help move all our equipment out of public storage and in to our facility. Today, my sister came in to town (from NY) to help with some construction. She is a rock star set designer for nationally touring plays so what we’ll be doing is right up her alley. Tomorrow, my father-in-law, who IS Mr. Tool Time, comes in to help as well. My wife has been a WORKHORSE and responsible for the progress more than anyone else as she’s painted and cleaned much of the facility by herself (while watching our 2 year old daughter) while I was away for a week for a speaking engagement. Assuming all goes well and the few remaining things we need arrive, we should be open for business on August 3rd. Stay tuned.
