Athletic Lab’s Dr. Mike Young recently returned from Stockholm, Sweden where he presented at the Exxentric Summit. Young presented on the research-based approach to using flywheel training that is being implemented at Athletic Lab. Flywheel training provides resistance that allows athletes to overload the athlete’s ability to generate eccentric force. Exxentric is the world’s leading manufacturer of Flywheel resistance training technology. The summit brought together almost 50 individuals from 14 different countries.
Athletic Lab is a world leader in its applied implementation and research on sport technology. We have consulted for some of the largest companies in the world and the facility features advanced sport technology such as the Bodymetrix ultrasound machine, SmartSpeed timing gates, Polar Team heart rate monitoring platform, a team training system from PUSH, and the kBox3 from Exxentric.
Dr. Young and others will be presenting next week at the High Performance Athletic Development Clinic hosted by Athletic Lab on May 28-29th. Find out more details here.
